Martha Moon Graves

Martha Moon Graves Development Producer

As development producer, Martha originates and develops new ideas for documentaries, specials, features, series and digital content. Before joining Vulcan, she spent 15 years developing, writing and producing documentaries for National Geographic, PBS, Smithsonian, and Discovery, tackling an array of subjects from the life of Pope John Paul II to the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon. Her work has taken her to many countries around the world from Hong Kong to Vatican City.  (Her all-time favorite shoot took place inside the Sistine Chapel after hours, with a tiny crew.)  She also spent a year living in Tibet, traveling with Tibetan scholars through the countryside to film religious festivals and capture oral histories. She has taught English in South Korea, and as a student of Mandarin, studied and traveled across China as far as Xinjiang.  Now rooted in Seattle, she dreams of taking her family on an open-ended journey around the world.
