Our climate is on an unsustainable path and we must act now to change its dangerous trajectory. The Earth is warming due to the accumulation of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases that we are creating, much of them through the mining and combustion of fossil fuels. As our understanding of the Earth and climate change increases, so should our policies, our habits and our actions to ensure a better world for future generations.
In 2016, the Film4Climate Global Video Competition invited aspiring filmmakers to express their vision for a sustainable future by creating a short film or video about climate action.
Now, we are excited to promote these films and spark conversation and engagement with the important issues facing our planet today.
The competition, presented by the World Bank Group’s Connect4Climate program, included partnerships with the United Nations, UNFCCC, UN Sustainable Development, UNEP, The Global Brain and Government of the Kingdom of Moroccos, United Nations, UNFCCC, UN Sustainable Development, UNEP, The Global Brain and Government of the Kingdom of Morocco.
