Vulcan Productions' motion picture team is dedicated to creating films characterized by great storytelling, significant artistic merit, and long-term commercial success. We work with established and emerging directors and producers who have a track record of success in delivering all three elements.

The stories we seek are those that engage an audience both intellectually and emotionally; stories that capture the imagination and reveal the human condition. We also support the filmmaking endeavors of affiliated companies, providing the production and management oversight necessary to bolster their educational, artistic and entertainment value.

Vulcan Productions is primarily focused on producing a slate of feature films with budgets under $1,000,000. The first of these films are: HARD CANDY, the controversial psychological thriller that premiered at Sundance 2005 and will be released in theaters on April 14, 2006, and BICKFORD SHMECKLER'S COOL IDEAS, which premieres at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and South-by-Southwest Film Festival in
March 2006.
